The objective was to create a zine exploring a historic subject in a specific era, the 1600s. I analyzed the Bamberg Witch Trials. To do this, I looked at Early Modern Europe’s way of communicating visually and how I could incorporate that into my final work. I decided to make most of the imagery the same as it was at the time. Not only that, but to incorporate contemporary artistic strategies with grain and textures.
