The goal was to make a poster from the 1800s aesthetic. Doing research on the era and its many unique aspects of advertising, I chose a prevalent product of the time, cigarettes. Although the era wasn’t keen on including feminine figures, I chose to focus on this. I included phrases that included quotes from the posters of the time. Along with my research it led to include filigree, imagery, colors and textures that were an homage to the era.
